CAP/residency
In parallel to her work as an artist, Candida has created an artist residency program as part of the restoration she undertook of a 13th century convent in Corsica, the Couvent San Francescu of Oletta.
She established the non-profit art residency with the American architect Tim Culbert, Corsica Art Project or CAP/r, to connect artists from diverse backgrounds, to engage in new work in a unique setting, to allow for a dialog with the Island and the historical building, and to demonstrate - as she has done in her own life - the role artists can play in creating vibrant and sustainable communities.
